Have you heard about “Wild Bill for America”? I am serious. His videos have been popping up around the blogosphere and he has an interesting style to say the least. Apart from putting a smile on your face, he addresses important issues and makes good points.
Once again, I stress that we are not promoting any person or view. When we run across anything that may be of interest we put it up for you. Without further ado, here are a few examples from Wild Bill for America~Enjoy…
One of the summer highlights in Israel is the Jerusalem Light Festival. This year the Old City of Jerusalem was lit up with a variety of displays from the 15th to 22nd of June.
To direct the flow of visitors there were “light routes”–each one marked by a different colour. Inside and out, the old city was transformed into a fantasy of delight.
David went to the old city to meet Zohar Gev, an internationally known artist who now resides in Denmark. He applied and won the bid to put his Rainbow of Lights display on the outer wall of the Old City.
As the week and the month winds down, here is a clip which may, or may not be from the Czech Republic~the fun really begins about one minute in.
This is for our Canuck friends who, over the years have endured endless re-runs of River Dance on their local TV channels. In case there is anyone who has not had the experience there is a clip from the original River Dance Below….Enjoy!
Nigel Farage MEP, is the leader of the UK Independence Party and Co-President of the Freedom and Democracy Group in the European Parliament. While I know little about Nigel Farage he is one of the most lively politicians I have seen in the EU. He brings up very good points. With news that the European Union is meddling in every aspect of the member states–including giving prisoners the vote–I find it strange that there is only one person who is willing to speak out. Maybe there are more, but he certainly gets noticed.
Here are excerpts from some of Mr. Farages’ speeches to the European Parliament in Strasbourg and Brussels in 2010. The second clip shows Mr. Farage has always been keen to point out the shortfalls of the “members”. Food for thought served with a smile.
This from Arutz 7: Saudi Arabian security forces have captured a vulture that was carrying a global positioning satellite (GPS) transmitter and a ring etched with the words “Tel Aviv University.” They suspect the bird of spying for Israel.
The vulture was caught near the home of a sheikh in the community of Hayel in Saudi Arabia. The researchers said that seven vultures that were marked in Israel in the last few years reached Saudi Arabia. Transmissions from four of them have ceased and they are presumed dead. One vulture–besides R65–is still alive and flying around Saudi Arabia, after spending the winter in Sudan.
The arrest of the vulture–Identified as R65–comes only weeks after an Egyptian official claimed a shark that attacked tourists off the Sinai shore was actually trained and sent by Mossad. There seems to be a feeling that Mossad can “talk to the animals” as there have been a multitude of this type of story, from super rats raised to breed hundreds of times faster that normal and attack only Palestinians–to snakes who seek out Arabs to bite–and not to forget the wild boars. Seriously, you just can’t make this stuff up…
Please take a few minutes to watch and think about this experiment. Notice at the beginning when these young people try to give away “free hugs” how people back away and look at them like they are “not quite right”.
Now keep watching as gradually people are won over–then watch the smiles. Idare you to watch to the end without a smile coming to your face and a bit of moisture in the corners of your eyes! May God Bless those young folks for going out there to spread some joy–for free!
If only there were more people in this world willing to give free hugs and even more willing to accept free hugs. Have you hugged anyone today? Has anyone hugged you? Regardless, from all of us at Israel Vision to all of you out there–here is your hug :)
