Made in Israel

Israel today, in spite of continual attacks, war, terror and prejudice is a miracle of survival.  Israel has not only survived for seven decades and overcome great obstacles, it is now one of the most fertile countries on earth. Israeli innovations, especially in medicine and agriculture have impacted the quality of life for a huge part of humanity.  “Made in Israel” traces how Israeli inventors have become world leaders in start up companies. Now Israel is becoming known as the “Scale Up” country as more an more innovations are birthed, nurtured and blossomed via Israeli companies.  PS, We are close friends with Chris Mitchell, CBN bureau chief here in Jerusalem and he has authorized us to run this movie. Over the years he has used excerpts of our productions for their 700 Club TV show that is broadcast world wide.

An Answer to Prayer…

Almost one month ago we asked for prayer for our dear friend Irene, who had been diagnosed with an aneurysm in her left eye.

Needless to say, these past weeks have been filled with prayer (and worry!)

Several days ago, Irene traveled to Jerusalem, hopeful that the doctors would be able to do a laser procedure. When she arrived, the news was better than all had hoped for!

The aneurysm appears to have not only stopped growing, but it has in fact regressed! This morning, Irene was able returned home without having any invasive procedures done!

Although the danger is not over, for all of us, this is a miraculous answer to prayer. We ask you to please keep Irene in your prayers, so that she will see a complete healing!

Christmas Around the World~Arlington Cemetery

Christmas pictures are making the rounds so we will be sharing some of them with you each day. I am starting with Arlington Cemetery, because this story is truly inspiring. Maybe the rest of the world isn’t interested but what is wrong with the US Media that there is little of no mention of those who have given their all for freedom? Shame on them. Follow the links to learn more of the wonderful project and do watch the video below–be sure to have tissues on hand.

Christmas at Arlington Cemetery
Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well.
Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.
Peace, peace, and farewell…

The background story about  the many wreaths at Arlington Cemetery is beautiful. Each year some 5,000 wreaths are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He’s done this since 1992. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.

Blessings of the Season to Merrill Worcester and the people who work to do this amazing work. To the teachers in Maine who are teaching students real values–you will reap the rewards of the seeds you are sowing–never stop! You can read more about this wonderful work at the link.

With all the bad things going on in the world this is one touching act of love that should be shared. Please do pass it on to everyone you know. May God Bless and Keep all the Fallen Soldiers and Protect those who are still fighting.

Miracle in Chile

Picture from AP
We just have to consider it a Miracle from God that the miners are emerging from the bowels of the earth and are able to walk and embrace their family members! They look good! The Live feed provided by the Telegraph brings the whole drama to life. I should note I do not have TV which most of you out there probably have!
