100 years ago, on 11th December 1917, General Edmund Allenby, entered Jerusalem on foot, out of respect for the status of Jerusalem as the Holy City important to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Now, in 2017 a re-enactment of that historic day took place at Jaffa Gate, of the Old City of Jerusalem.
